Gute Spanentfernung z.B. bei Gusseisen, Alu-
minium, Kunststoffen usw. Diese Form wird
besonders dann angewendet, wenn der Bohrer
fr Sthle mit hoher Hrte produziert wurde,
da dadurch der Seitenspanwinkel verkleinert
wird und Brche an der Schneidkante vermie-
den werden.
In case of work materials with low cutting
resistance and good chip removal, ie, cast
iron, aluminium, plastic etc., B type thinning

L’assottigliamento tipo B suggerito nel caso
in cui si stiano lavorando materiali con bassa
resistenza alla lavorabilit e buona evacuazione
truciolo; per esempio ghisa, alluminio, plastica,
ecc… Questo tipo di assottigliamento utilizza-
to soprattutto quando le punte sono modellate
per lavorare acciai fortemente induriti al fine di
ridurre l’angolo di spoglia superiore e evitare la
scheggiatura dei taglienti.

und Rohren geeignet. Niedrige Gratbildung.
Centre drill bit thinning; ensures optimal centre
drilling and does not leave burs in through-holes.
As the bit and cutting edges are delicate, this bit
should be used far drilling thin sheet metal.
